People are moving to Maricopa County. So many that we were the 2nd fastest growing (population speaking) county in the entire United States in 2014 as well as #6 fasted growing Metropolitan region (Phoenix/Scottsdale) for the same period.

While this is great news on the surface we still only saw a 2.8% GDP increase for 2014. For those not keeping track - that is about half of what we would like to see in a post-recession economy in the valley. So the news is good, but not great.

But that was then, this is now...

The last few weeks has seen a definite change in the local real estate market in Phoenix. Properties are selling. Properties are selling quickly. We are seeing more homes hit the market and receive multiple offers in the first few days. Times they are a changing!

If you have been thinking about selling your home - now is the perfect time to take advantage of the upswing in the market. If you are looking to buy - make sure you are prepared to compete in this fast paced market. Make sure you take the steps to be a ready and able buyer before you start looking for a home. Having your financial ducks in a row could mean the difference between putting forward an offer that is accepted versus one that is rejected.

Once your financing is in place, make sure you have the best people in your corner to help you find and purchase your perfect new home. That is where I come in - give me a call and set up a time to come to the office. Let's get your home buying strategy in place so you don't miss out on the right home!
